💰 What is your fee structure?

We operate on a flat-fee model, starting from $22,000 per adviser, per annum.

Additional costs are passed through at cost to you, including:

  • PI Insurance

  • Kaplan Ontrack (CPD tracking)

  • ASIC Levy and CSLR Levy

  • iComply2 (for AI compliance tools, revenue management, document management & workflows)

🧾 Do I need to issue an SOA for every client in the first year?

No, there is no such thing as a “foundation SOA.” Advice should always be given in the client’s best interest—not to satisfy arbitrary licensee rules.

However, whether you can rely on an ROA or must issue a new SOA will depend on who the 'providing entity' was under your current licensee. If you were the authorised representative and the providing entity, you can generally continue with an ROA—assuming you hold a copy of the original SOA on file.

We don’t issue financial products, nor do we have preferred platforms.

Our APL is broad and flexible. We allow advisers to use solutions that genuinely suit their clients, with a few quality guardrails:

🛠 What software do you use?

You can choose your primary advice software. We support advisers using:

  • Xplan is our primary advice CRM. However, if you use another CRM (e.g. AdviserLogic, Dash, Worksorted), that’s no problem—we’re flexible.

  • iComply2, which manages:

    • Compliance

    • Revenue

    • Workflows

    • SOA vetting (via SARA AI)

    • It also has a built in CRM and online fact find tool.

💸 Are there costs to switch?

  • We do not charge onboarding fees

  • If you’re migrating data from your current Xplan site, Iress will quote a data migration fee

  • Your current licensee may charge an exit fee—please check with them directly

We assist with all admin and tech to ensure a smooth, low-friction transition.

🔄 What does the switching process look like?

  3. We liaise with your current licensee to manage offboarding, including compliance handover and Xplan data migration (where applicable).
