The Next Evolution of iC2
The iC2 platform has played an important role in supporting our advisers with client management, compliance and practice administration. As technology continues to evolve, we are now preparing for the next stage of the iC2 journey.
Between now and 1 January 2027, we will progressively phase out the existing iC2 application infrastructure and transition to three purpose-built applications: Finley, SARA and RIMA.
Each application has been designed to support a specific part of an advice practice:
Finley supports client management, advice workflows, tasks and financial projections.
SARA provides AI-assisted reviews of Statements of Advice and other compliance management.
RIMA supports practice revenue, expense allocation, reconciliation and adviser payments.
Together, these applications will provide advisers with a more modern, flexible and connected technology experience.
What is changing?
The current iC2 Clients App and Client Portal App will remain operational throughout the transition period and will be decommissioned from 1 January 2027.
This phased approach provides practices with time to become familiar with the new applications, review their existing processes and transition their teams in an orderly manner.
Finley is already available through iC2, allowing advisers to begin exploring and using the new platform now rather than waiting until the existing applications are decommissioned.
Accessing Finley & Sara
You can already access Finley and Sara from the iC2 Apps menu. Rima will be available in the coming weeks.
You can log into Finley and Sara using your existing iC2 App login and password. Upon login, you will be prompted to renew your two-factor authentication.
Finley, Sara and Rima will all use the same single login credentials. There is no need to maintain separate logins.
Existing iC2 Clients App users
For advisers currently using the iC2 Clients App and Client Portal App, we have already migrated their client data to Finley.
This means there is no need to wait for a future data migration before getting started. Advisers can access Finley through iC2 now and begin becoming familiar with its client records, workflows and available functionality.
Between now and 1 January 2027, we will support existing users as they transition their processes from the current iC2 applications to Finley.
The existing iC2 Clients App and Client Portal App will no longer be available from 1 January 2027, so practices using these applications should complete their transition to Finley before that date.
Advisers using another CRM systems
The transition to Finley, SARA and RIMA does not mean every practice must replace its existing CRM.
Advisers currently using established CRM platforms such as Xplan, AdviserLogic, Dash or Worksorted can continue using their chosen platform as their primary CRM.
These practices will still be able to access the relevant capabilities of Finley, SARA and RIMA through iC2 where they complement the practice’s existing technology and operating model.
Our objective is not to require every advice practice to work in the same way. It is to provide advisers with purpose-built tools that can improve advice delivery, compliance oversight and practice administration while continuing to support the systems already embedded within their business.
Other CRM Integrations
Xplan Integration:
Unfortunately, we are unable to integrate Sara and Rima with Xplan. At this stage, Iress have not granted us direct API integration between Xplan and the new Sara and Rima solutions.
As part of the transition, we will arrange a data migration of your clients from Xplan and load them into the Finley, Sara and Rima database.
AdviserLogic and Worksorted Integrations:
AdviserLogic and Worksorted have granted us direct API integration. We will configure the direct integration between these systems into Sara and Rima.
Transition timeline
The transition will take place progressively between now and the end of 2026.
Available now
Finley is available through iC2.
Existing iC2 Clients App and Client Portal App users already have their client data available in Finley.
Practices can begin exploring Finley and preparing their teams for the transition.
Advisers using other CRM platforms can continue using their existing primary CRM.
Between now and 31 December 2026
Existing users can progressively transition their client management processes to Finley.
Additional guidance and support will be provided to help practices understand the new applications.
Practices will have time to review their workflows, train team members and prepare for the decommissioning of the existing applications.
From 1 January 2027
Finley, SARA and RIMA will form the next-generation application suite available through iC2.
The current iC2 Projects App, Clients App and Client Portal App will be decommissioned, with Finley as the new Advice CRM.
The existing iC2 Revenue App and Pay Run Portal will be replaced by Rima as a centralised Revenue Management App.
The existing Sara App and Compliance Hub will be merged into Sara.
Practices using Xplan, AdviserLogic, Dash, Worksorted or another external CRM can continue using that system as their primary CRM.
Preparing for the transition
Practices currently using the iC2 Clients App or Client Portal App are encouraged to begin accessing Finley and familiarising themselves with the new environment.
Starting early will allow practices to:
Confirm that their client information is available.
Understand how Finley fits within their current advice process.
Familiarise advisers and support staff with the new interface.
Review existing workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
Raise any questions well before the existing applications are decommissioned.
Further information, training and transition support will be provided throughout the remainder of 2026.
Looking ahead
The transition from the current iC2 application infrastructure to Finley, SARA and RIMA is an important step in the continued development of our adviser technology.
It will provide a more focused and scalable platform for client management, advice production, compliance reviews and practice financial administration.
Most importantly, the transition is designed to give advisers better tools without unnecessarily disrupting the systems and processes already working within their practices.
Finley is available through iC2 now, and we encourage existing iC2 Clients App users to begin exploring the platform ahead of the 1 January 2027 transition.
